What information will a later review need?
Epistemis is decision-state infrastructure for liability-exposed enterprise decisions. Authorized reviewers may later examine, challenge or use the original basis to defend these decisions.
We discuss with decision makers, reviewers and specialist organizations what information they need. The dialogue concerns understandable evidence and what information may be disclosed.
Clarifying these requirements early can help people prepare for later reviews while the decision is being developed.

Evidence and reader questions

Which source was authoritative? How can its version at the time and later changes be traced?
We can record which source details are needed and where questions about traceability remain open.
Permitted reader views
What information does a reader need for the purpose of their review? Which content must be omitted or redacted?
An Evidence Pack is a view of the governed decision state restricted to a reader’s role and purpose. Its content and scope depend on the decision space and the authorized reader.
This can establish requirements for reader views, disclosure and redaction.
Meaning and limits
Only SEAL can record a decision state as final within Epistemis when the defined requirements are met. Which requirements were met, and what does that record not establish?
We can clarify terminology and statements about what the record establishes and where its limits lie.
THE DISCUSSION
How does the discussion begin?
We start with your question and the perspective you bring. An initial conversation may be enough.
Before a more detailed review or workshop, we agree on participants, questions, materials and expected outputs. We also agree how confidential information will be handled.
Depending on what is agreed, we can document possible next steps or a decision not to continue. Participants may continue to hold different views.
What boundaries apply?
Feedback can refine requirements and terminology. It does not change a preserved decision state or create a SEAL.
The business decision remains with the enterprise. Participation alone gives neither access to enterprise information nor control over the infrastructure. Participants retain their own review mandates.
A conversation does not establish a partnership, endorsement or membership. It is not certification, legal approval or a decision about insurance coverage. It does not replace a legal opinion or guarantee acceptance by reviewers, regulators or standards bodies.
Deployment within an enterprise
The Enterprise Pilot configures Epistemis for a clearly bounded, liability-exposed decision space within an enterprise. The dialogue does not commit anyone to a pilot. It is not a prerequisite for one.
